I recommend combining the Poggemühlen manor house (from 1585) with a tour of the northern Hoelzerbruch-Malse path. Best combined with a visit to the Oeser Church, which is also worth seeing. The picturesque Kirchsteig leads directly to Basdahl and thus back to the north path.
