The conservation work was completed in 2024 and now the castle looks superb. Really recommend as very intact 12c building. Lovely town too and good walks in the area.

Opening hours Wednesday to Saturday 09:00 -16:00 Sunday 09:00 - 14:00 There is nowhere to secure a bike at the front, but after asking was able to store at the rear garden area of cafe via the side lane.
