On the occasion of the 800th anniversary of the community of Brensbach, the “Bannoser-Wanderweg Brensbach”, an approximately 20 km long circular hiking trail, was installed together with the local hiking group, the GEO nature park and the Brensbach municipal administration. The “Bannoser hiking trail” leads through the attractive Odenwald landscape with beautiful viewpoints and some cultural monuments. The circular route leads from Brensbach via Wallbach to KirchBrombach. From there it goes to Böllstein, via the former Affhöllerbach district youth home, back to Brensbach. At various stations, display boards tell of the “Bannos pranks”, which often make you smile. The “Bannoser hiking trail” will soon be available via the QR code in the new GEO Nature Park hiking brochure “Hiking around Brensbach”. This free hiking brochure is available in paper form from the municipality of Brensbach and other distribution points. It can be found at GEO-Nature Park under the following link. https://geonaturpark.net/digitale_wanderwege/brensbach-bannoserwegdigitaler-wanderweg/.
