The bird park no longer exists, but the nesting boxes for the storks have remained. In the meantime, they have multiplied to such an extent that a large number of trees are also home to nests. Now, in May, you can watch the young being fed. There are certainly more than 20 nests occupied around the former bird park. Probably one of the largest colonies in Hesse and still growing. Nice that the storks are back in large numbers.
