Directly on the Panoramaweg and the Urdonautaltrail, this ecclesiastical gem stands "in the middle of the path" before the ascent high up to the Dollnsteiner Klippen. The interior is open all year round and suitable for church festivals. Especially worth a visit for active people in the summer: I have always found a cool interior that invites contemplative lingering.

Right by the Altmühl bridge at the entrance to Wasserzell, there is a lovingly designed sales booth with an ice cream machine. For sale are homemade delicacies such as a small selection of exquisite cakes baked in a jar 😋, preserved fruit in great creations, homemade pasta, jewelry, and much, much more... A lovingly stocked highlight on every tour - a stop here (also possible for boat hikers, as it is directly opposite the official exit point). And it is a joy to pay for the purchased delicacies: an old, decommissioned kettle serves as the cash register, and in the old kitchen cabinet - on which the goods are presented - space has also been created in a drawer to return the preserving jars of the delicacies.
