It doesn't always have to be the Alps

The Glockersteig is a fantastically beautiful path, but only accessible on foot and with good shoes. The path is not recommended for cycling.

In the Glockersteig area there are three places where you have to do a bit of scrambling. However, there are wire ropes available that make these places easy to manage.

It never gets boring here over hill and dale. There are always beautiful views through the trees. At the moment the path is difficult to find in places, especially coming from the edge of town. Unfortunately, many branches have been created due to fallen trees. If you like, you can do a nice loop together with the easier Dachssteig. If you start from the hiking car park and have sure-footed children, you can stop off at the Wirtshaus zur Linde. There is a playground here and the walk home via the Dachssteig is easier when you are refreshed.
