Great bridleway

The road is a dead end but the lakeside view is very nice. Worth it if you want somewhere scenic to stop although not always very tranquil in the summer with the watersports centre, neighbouring campsite and playground.

Popular local beauty spot. There's a cafe overlooking the river next to the rowing boat hire station.

Beautiful village on the Stour, the β€˜capital’ of the Dedham Vale, with an imposing high street including cafes for a refreshment stop. The descent down through the wide main street from the south-west offers a nice fast run as well!
