The privately owned Catholic Chapel of the Ascension was built in 1981 north of Mörslingen on the edge of the forest. It is popularly known as the Waldkapelle (Forest Chapel) because of its location. Every year on Ascension Day, a procession of the parishes of Finningen, Lutzingen and Mörslingen takes place to the Waldkapelle, where Holy Mass is then celebrated.
