A nice, shaded playground with a water pump. Unfortunately, the swimming area is paved with sharp gravel instead of sand, so water shoes are recommended.

A stop at the "Waldsee-Stubn" is highly recommended. Beautiful view of the lake from the terrace. Good food. What more could you want?

Cozy retreat directly at the Waldsee - the local recreation area of Simbach!

Just south of Simbach am Inn is the Waldsee or simply “Lago”. You can relax wonderfully in the meadows on the bank. The shore area is very shallow, so children can also splash around, but if you want to swim through the lake, you'll get your money's worth. The Waldsee Stub'n provides meals in between.
