Railway bridge between Bestenheid and Hasloch. Good opportunity to cross the Main on foot or by bike. From the bridge, you also have a very nice view of the Main.

The old Main bridge to Kreuzwertheim was formerly a railway bridge. The steel structure with the rails was dismantled at the end of the 1980s. It can still be seen in old photographs.

I remember the little castle in the Hofgarten from my childhood, when it was a dilapidated ruin on the road to Eichel. It was completely restored in the early 2000s and now shines in its former glory. Well worth seeing.

Wertheim's old town boasts beautiful architecture: quaint half-timbered houses, magnificent castles, and, of course, the Main and Tauber rivers.

After the railway line and the tunnel behind it were closed, the bridge served as the Wertheimers' route across the Tauber for a long time. However, the bridge is now closed. All that remains is its rusty appearance.
