A little exit to the right will lead you onto the main road and toward Aynho Wharf and the Great Western Arms, which is a perfect spot for a half-way mark rest. The pub serves a great array of food and drinks and features a lovely outdoor seating area.

Sorry, I didn’t take a photo of the S&S arms so these photos are of our lunch before we went on a lovely local hike. They are GF/vege friendly, and it’s a beautiful old pub.

This is a delightful local nature reserve managed by the Adderbury Parish Council. Once a part of the ornamental garden for Adderbury House, the lakes were neglected until local efforts to restore them in the 1980s. Today, they are a haven for wildlife.
