A lot of the roads/tracks/paths around Hawley Lake are of similar quality, ie. very good, to this. Almost roadie territory (almost, I said).

Perfect stop to dip you toes in the lake. Loads of wide gravel and hardpacked trails surround the lake. you could easily spend a few hours riding around, Or use them as a section of a larger ride. It's worth checking out trails around Minley Manor, Just over the road.

Extensive woodland around a lake. There is a mixture of paved, gravel and unsurfaced paths and trails. There are a couple of spots for a paddle too.
