The Alpe is located almost directly on the wonderfully glittering Formarinsee at 1871m above sea level. Surrounded by mountains above 2500m, the Alpe is a popular starting point for many hikes. The Alpe does not offer any accommodation! The Alpe can be reached with the hiking bus "Linie Formarinsee", which starts in Lech. Cash payments only possible. The opening times depend on the Alp season. https://www.vorarlberg-alpenregion.at/de/dalaas/info/alpe-formarin.html

A narrow path leads directly to the shore. Lots of small fish swim around here. You can also go fishing there. You can relax on the shore. It invites you to cool off a little.
