Great stop on our ride. We done cafes and ice cream and also topped up our water bottles. Staff is very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the history spot. Don’t miss it! I must visit on foot and properly discover such amazing and significant place.

Utterly lush cake and coffee with bike racks and outside seating. Be mindful of how far and hard you plan to ride afterwards, the cakes are huge!

St Mary’s Herriard is a large beautiful Norman church (13th Century) which can be found in Herriard on the A339 between Basingstoke and Alton. It was completely restored by Colston in 1876 and has been a Grade II* Listed building since 1957. Tough route to ride, I got a puncture in both wheels. Thankfully for the tubeless sealant I was able to ride one. One of my buddies suffered a flat here too. It was fun though
