I stopped here for lunch. Thereβs some seating around a tree. I notices some water taps around the edge of the small woods, looking down at the run way beneath. Please take your rubbish with you.

Lovely circular walk, with free parking at the Cricketers pub. Easy walk for all levels. Great views. Done it in about an hour. Treated ourselves to a bacon bap and orange juice afterwards.

A great ride through the RSPB area but be aware there is only one main route north/south that bikes are permitted. Brilliant area with cafe for a coffee and cake recharge!

The Lodge is a nature reserve managed by the RSPB. It's the largest stretch of heathland in Bedfordshire.
