A walk along the river is always lovely. What I loved most was the color of the water and the lush green of the meadows. And of course, the mountains in the background – simply breathtaking! 👌

Our group ate here every evening. The food was delicious 😋 and the staff was very friendly. Even though we were seated longer, they were still friendly. 🥰 On the last evening, we were given another round of apricots, even though we were very loud. A typical Palatinate dish 🙈

The inn is in the middle of Hinterbichl. We were often guests and the food can only be recommended. Very tasty at fair prices.

Bridge over the Isel with a great view!

If you walk downstream against the Iseltrail, the signposts are unfortunately not very informative. You can quickly find yourself on the wrong side of the river and miss the view of the Timmelbach waterfall - but you do pass Café Grieß.

The box may have been repositioned - it is currently (again) right next to the information boards on the bridge.
