Since 1750, the Peter family has been growing the blue Wildbacher grape on their winery in western Styria, which is made into the so-called “Schilcher” in a wide variety of variations. In addition to the wine specialties, there are also delicious fish delicacies in the restaurant, freshly fished from the in-house "Märchensee", which is idyllically located in the middle of the winery.

Beautiful ambience, warm welcome, in the cozy tavern with tiled stove for cold days find about 40 people and on the covered terrace once again so many. We have melted Schilcher and cold fish specialties from our own Märchensee on the tongue and then indulged in homemade pastries. But also the beautifully arranged Jausenteller can be seen. A nice place for a stop on the hike! Opening hours on the homepage: https://www.weinbautonipeter.at/
