A good size and well done. You only need a couple of hours to see everything

A little expensive now (£2.55 pp single) but it's a hell of a climb out through the trees or up the only road.

Check that the railway is running as was having maintenance work do, but there is a path which goes down to the beach ice cream shop cafe and toilets but they will cost you 30p each contactless great walk along the seafront

Below the John Musgrave Heritage Trail, a path leads through a meadow to Maidencombe. We were immediately impressed by this meadow: the bushes and trees, and even the sea, are its backdrop. Even the gently sloping path has its place in the meadow. This is English harmony.

The South West Coast Path gives you endless views of the sea. These meadows and hedges form the backdrop to the coastline. It is so relaxing - for us it was a real spectacle.

We were impressed by the Valley of Rocks because there was so much greenery - trees, bushes, mosses and grass - lining the path. This really made the rocks stand out. The hiking trail was also good: wide and we could feel the age of the path through the roots lying across it. The steps made of rock were the icing on the cake.
