The traditional Heurigen operation and inn „Zechmeisters Michlhof“ in Lanzenkirchen has permanently ceased its regular gastronomy business. The popular meeting place, which was known for its regional home-style cooking and cozy atmosphere, is therefore no longer available to the public as a place to stop. The closure marks the end of a long-standing traditional business that has significantly shaped social life in the market town.

The playground in the Leitha-Au in Lanzenkirchen is located in a natural setting directly on the wooded banks of the Leitha river. Due to the old trees, the area is pleasantly shady, especially on hot summer days, and offers children plenty of space to romp around in nature. In addition to various play equipment, the playground also regularly serves as a stop for the market town's annual holiday games.

The first ore diggings lie in darkness. When the ore deposits at Schlossberg were granted to the Counts Hoyos in 1786, remains of perhaps 100 years of mining were found. In 1787, Christine Hoyos received permission to build a blast furnace. Mining was often shut down due to economic crises and experienced several changes of ownership.

A homemade ice cream, right in the center of Pitten, which tastes wonderful and costs only one euro per large scoop. I think this is unique.

During a walk through the Rosengarten Pitten, you stroll past 2,600 rose bushes of 100 different species. Rose arches with stone benches envelop visitors in unmistakable fragrances.
