From the Königswarte observation tower, the view extends far beyond the border to Bratislava. Especially in clear weather, the striking high-rises and the silhouette of the Slovak capital are clearly recognizable. An impressive panorama that shows how close the metropolises and landscapes of this border region are to each other.

This concrete block is not the former Berg border crossing. Rather, it was a German tank barrier that was used by Russian occupiers and (poorly) labeled. A sign next to it explains its origin. This relic was found during excavation work in Berg and set up as a memorial.

Wonderful vantage point, the view extends from the Carpathians over the Vienna Basin to the Gutenstein Alps.

Here you can rest at the former Berg border crossing and, if the worst comes to the worst, make repairs with tools from the bike self-service station. A drinks machine is also available.

Right at this point is the Berg rest area. I assume that's what was meant by that.
