Built in 1862 by local landowner Jeremiah Long, to ‘have a rich view of the country’. Very poor condition, looks like it's ready to fall down.

An absolutely nice and quiet lane, there is much greenery around. The road is a bit narrow, nonetheless the road surface is good for both road and gravel riding. it's mostly flat with little rising, nothing much to bother your legs.

1.8 mile surfaced loop around Kenley Airfield with information boards about the history as an RAF airfield in the Battle of Britain. Great place for kids learning to ride or just for a smooth flat ride away from roads and muddy bridleways. You can ride on the airfield itself when not in use by the gliding club and the gates are open but otherwise use the wide surfaced path around the outside, surrounded by the greenery of Kenley Common.
