No beautiful pass and no view. But the descent from the Tetnuldi ski resort to Adishi is incredibly good

There are always beautiful views into the valley. Some cars drive quite close by.

The Terek originates at the glacier on the 3847-meter-high Zilgachochiberg, located southwest of Mount Kazbek. After the Kuban, it is the largest river originating in the Caucasus. Its length is 623 km. The river first flows eastward past the village of Abano, here in the Truso Valley, then from Almasiani flows northward and passes the Georgian-Russian border in the Darial Gorge via Stapantsminda. It flows into the Caspian Sea.

Travertine is the rock from which the entire Sacré-Coeur in Paris is built. A bit more technically: a limestone formed by the precipitation of lime from calcium carbonate-supersaturated water from hot springs. ... but don't just think of white, but also of the red and orange traces left by mineral springs. This is the case in Keteresi and Abano, two almost abandoned villages, a little further down the valley, among others.

Very quaint and original village, completely different and less touristy than Mestia. Detour to the glacier possible.

Ushguli is a true gem of Georgia, located at the end of the world and definitely also of Europe! This complex of several small settlements is considered the highest permanently inhabited village in Europe. Although it is actually the Caucasus, i.e. the border between Europe and Asia! Thanks to its unique character and accumulation of unusual Gothic towers, Ushguli has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1996.

Yep, that's kinda good one. A good alternative if you're bored of riding around the lake in the soup of people (duh). Make sure you have enough water and you have your head covered with a cap or something because there isn't a single tree or even a bush, so prepare to get well-done. Needless to say, you have to use UV protection (the higher the better) unless you're aiming to give yourself some cancer lol. | Yeah, it's a nice route. A good alternative if you're tired of riding around the lake in the soup of people (boring). The main thing is to take plenty of water and protect your head with a cap or something, because there aren't a single tree or bush here, so be prepared to get thoroughly fried. Of course, you need sunscreen (the higher the protection, the better), unless, of course, you want to give yourself cancer, lol.
