One of my favorite routes, quiet, rarely anyone around, the path mostly close to the Rhine riverbank, many bunkers from WWII. A beautiful riverside path to enjoy. There are also bunkers with viewing platforms, the remains of a Roman defensive castle.

On the Wutachuferweg, I ride nicely close to the water, enjoying the quiet, nature-close course of the route. The splashing of the Wutach, the green surroundings, and the relaxed path guidance make this section a really pleasant part of the tour.

The riverside promenade on the Rhine in Waldshut is worthwhile for a relaxed stop with a mountain bike. I like to take a short break from the pace here because you can roll along nicely right by the water and enjoy the view of the Rhine. The proximity to the old town makes the section particularly pleasant – perfect for a short break on the go.

A quiet, secluded, and very popular pilgrimage site in Leuggern. Open 24 hours a day. Public restrooms are available on site. The grounds feature a well-maintained garden with benches.
