The track is rutted, workmen making a new bridge crossing.

This church in Louth, a place of prayer for many centuries and dedicated to St. James as its patron saint, is closely intertwined with a very specific moment in English history that took place almost five centuries ago. In British history, this moment in October 1536 is known as the "Lincolnshire Rising." This uprising was a protest by large sections of the population against King Henry VIII, particularly his actions following his separation from his wife, which led to the English Church splitting from the Roman Catholic Church.

Can be very wet and boggy on the section by the woods. Also sometimes the farmer has long horn cattel in the field you pass by.

Bit of a slippery incline to go up but we'll worth the views

Narrow and enclosed by deep undergrowth, these are good MTB tracks to ride through. The surfaces can be wet and mud will accumulate, but it was ok on the day I passed through in September 2024

This is a regular location where the local farm keeps large haystacks, good views to see and it does shelter you from the wind from certain directions
