January 1, 2026, Baker & Spice Anfu Road

Currently impacted by a ban on parking bicycles on Anfu Lu. Can still park if small group, but will be problematic if big group and/or later in day. Hope ban relents as great spot and opening at 6.30 is a godsend

The church in Thames Town was modeled after Christ Church in Clifton Down, Bristol, England.

When coming from Xunan Road and heading towards Huqingping Highway this is a short bypass. Formed like a concrete ravine going underneath the rail tracks. A one way street.

The building's architecture is somewhat reminiscent of the Pregnant Oyster in Berlin.

Nice temple with free entrance. The Jade buddha statue is pretty impressive given its made from a single piece of jade.

A short section of nicely done road. Smooth asphalt, tree lined and separate cycle/foot paths on both sides. When trying to avoid Huqingping Highway, this nicely connects further to Xunan Road (despite the connection being without bike lanes).
