Highlight • Viewpoint

Very popular cyclist route that links a number of nice climbs around Alderley Edge and the top of the hill takes puts you out right opposite National Trust site.

note the Wizard pub isn't open and this doesn't look like a temporary measure. The tea room of the same name is open.

Tatton Mere

Highlight • Natural

Great ride through Tatton Park. Often lots of deer to be seen, particularly in the early mornings before the crowds arrive. Watch out at weekends when there a lot of cars, walkers, prams, other cyclists and dogs around.

Nice trail, which is a mixture of paths, gravel and mud. Plenty of walkers, cyclists and horses, so care needs to be taken for your own safety, as well as others.

Plenty of narrow gates to pass through, had to get off my bike at a few. Overall a pleasant experience to cycle along.

Also pass Tatton Park on the charity ride Manchester 100. It can get very busy around the park with cars looking for a parking space. They refuse to give you any room. So take extra care.
