The parish church in Wettmannstätten is a very young church, built between 1965 and 1967. The old parish church had to be demolished due to its dilapidated condition. It is dedicated to Saint Valentine, the patron saint of young people, travelers, and beekeepers, and is believed to help preserve virginity and ensure a happy engagement and marriage. The monumental exterior fresco on the facade depicts the story of Saint Valentine and was created by the artist Franz Weiß in 1973 to commemorate the town's elevation to market town status. The church received its current appearance in 1997 through interior renovations.

The "Schatzmühle" (Treasure Mill) is located on the left bank of the Laznitzbach stream and has a history spanning over 500 years. In the 15th century, the mill was still called "Aumühle" (Aumill), then "Schustermühle" (Shoemaker's Mill), and from the 18th century onward, it was known as "Schatzmühle" (Treasure Mill). The "Schatzmühle" was a "Mauthmühle" (toll mill), as the local farmers had their grain milled for a fee. In the mid-19th century, the mill had six runners, a stamping mill, a sawmill, and an oil kitchen. At that time, the farm covered an area of over 70 acres. The mill operated successfully until the 1960s. After some of the land had already been sold, the property had to be sold in 1975. Today, it is run as an organic farm for goat breeding and the sale of various goat products, as well as an artist's studio and a homeopathic medicine practice.
