Pretty place with lots of life and plenty of goat tradition.

The view is truly fantastic. However, I didn't find the trail easy. At the beginning, you scramble over large, rounded boulders. After that, the path is very steep with some high steps and in places resembles a streambed more than a path. I should mention, though, that it had rained a lot in the days leading up to our hike.

Tjeldbergtinden pyramidal profile looks gorgeous reflected in the serene waters of Stor-Kongsvatnet on a good day. This entire strech along the lake is beautiful, with some lovely woodland, little waterfalls to seek out and boardwalk sections.

This final push to Tjeldbergtind is rocky and steep, requiring surefootedness and decent hiking experience. If you don't fancy it, there's an easier alternative that branches off left and meets the summit more gradually.
