On a natural elevation at this crossroads of 5 roads, a small wooden chapel hangs on an old linden tree. Only one of the original three linden trees has survived the test of time. Near the chapel stands a remnant of an old stone boundary marker. Presumably, this boundary marker is a relic from Roman times, when boundary markers were placed at crossroads to honor protective spirits. In the Middle Ages, it became customary to erect chapels at these boundary markers.

You're walking here on the boundary between the Scheldt and Meuse basins. All water on the left flows into the Herk streams, and on the right into the Jeker (Gere) river.

Crossroads of five roads, also known locally as the "five-way intersection." For centuries, lime trees with chapels dotted the fields served as beacons to guide people in the distance.

The parish was formerly dependent on the parish of St. George in Jeuk. In 1124, the patronage rights and tithe rights were purchased by the St. John's Chapter in Liège. In 1850, the old Romanesque church was demolished to make way for the current structure. This is a neoclassical, brick, single-nave church with an integrated tower. The entrance portal has a pediment. Corner fascia boards and window frames were made of natural stone. The church is surrounded by a walled cemetery. Numerous 17th- and 18th-century grave crosses were built into the wall.

Jadoul Farm in Vorsen is a historic square farm, mentioned as early as 1469. Originally owned by Susteren Abbey, it was part of the County of Loon, with a rich history of guardians such as the Van Vorsen, Van Berlo, Van Gavere, and the Count of Arenberg families. This protected monument underwent renovations, including one in 1788, and is now a working fruit farm (apple, pear, cherry) with modern holiday homes, combining tourism with agriculture and history, including covered wagon tours of the nearby tumuli.

The old rectory of Vorsen, built in 1845, has been restored, expanded, and converted into a hotel by its current owners (since 2014), aptly named "Hotel van Vorsen." A memorial stone for the military victims, veterans, and those deported during the First World War is embedded in the wall surrounding the rectory. The text on the monument refers to the municipality of Fresin, which is its former French name.

Het Paenhuys was a brewery, located at Brouwerijstraat 2 in Vorsen. This brewery was connected to the Jadoulhoeve, which belonged to Susteren Abbey. After 1755, it was completely rebuilt. However, the brewery disappeared, and an annex was built in 1926. The house still dates from the 18th century.

Neoclassical, brick building, built in 1850 (date on lintel above round-arched door), to replace a dilapidated, also single-nave church. Single-nave nave of three bays with round-arched windows; rectangular choir of two bays and built-in tower. Surrounded by a cemetery and cemetery wall in which a whole series of old 16th and 17th century grave crosses were built in. Furniture: Way of the Cross by J. Lecrenier (signed and dated 1863). Statue of the Risen Christ with Cross, polychrome terracotta (first half of the 19th century). Main altar (second half of the 18th century?); side altars (mid-19th century); cast-iron service altar (mid-19th century). Two confessionals, pulpit, pews (19th century). Baptismal font: pedestal (15th century), cut (circa 1700). The organ is one of the many instruments that Fr. Loret (Mechelen) made and was installed in 1864. It has one keyboard and ten registers. The instrumental part is quite serial in design, but the organ case is a beautiful and original piece of furniture, classical in structure.
