The path is no longer in perfect condition. It is still quite passable, though.

The walking path through De Valier was given the name Kadospad, nickname of the Lievens family who used this old unloading road to reach their plots in the Valier nature reserve. The path starts along a species-rich marsh marigold where you can admire all kinds of insects in the summer, such as the rare blackthorn page and the musk longhorn beetle. It continues over a boardwalk through a rougher landscape with, among other things, meadowsweet and large valerian. Over the centrally located Begijnegracht you reach another old unloading road that used to connect the station with the 'kapellekes' of the 'beeweg' of Ter Muilem. Thanks to the construction of the boardwalk, the area is also accessible during flooding.

Four statues, referring to the four roads of the roundabout Because the roundabout on the N208 is practically on the border of Liedekerke and Affligem, both municipalities, as good neighbours, decided to embellish this place with a work of art. The choice fell on a work by sculptor Patrick Van Craenenbroeck: four statues, referring to the four roads that end at the roundabout along the N208.

This looks like a large work of art of someone reading a book, but in reality it is a small carving that is part of a sofa and represents an accordion player.
