The Oudenaarde courthouse is an imposing neo-Gothic complex from the interwar period, built between 1922 and 1925 to a design by architect Henri Valcke. The style deliberately references Brabant Gothic, allowing the building to blend seamlessly with the city's historic architecture. The courthouse stands on the site of the former monastery of Sion, which was destroyed by fire in 1745.

The brewery cannot be visited freely. A guided tour can be booked for groups from 15 to a maximum of 35 people. If a group of 15 people is already registered, you can join that group individually (see also general conditions). A guide will be provided for every group of 35 people. A visit is possible from Monday to Saturday, at 10 am, 2 pm, and 5 pm.

Brouwerij Liefmans is a Belgian brewery, founded in 1679 by the Liefmans family, long owned by Brouwerij RIVA in Dentergem and currently part of Duvel Moortgat. It is located in the East Flemish city of Oudenaarde. They brew various types of Liefmans beer. The history of the brewery dates back to 1679, when there was already a mention of a brewery in Krekelput. At the end of the eighteenth century, Jacobus Liefmans settled in Oudenaarde and gave the brewery his name. From 1927, Liefmans built a new factory on Aalststraat in Edelare.[1] All the old brewing equipment such as the boiling kettles, cooling ships, and baudelot coolers are still made of red copper, which is typical for English breweries. Since 1902, the brewery was not owned by the Liefmans family, but by the Van Geluwe family.[2] In 1990, brewery Liefmans was taken over by Brouwerij Riva from Dentergem. In 2002, Riva was in turn taken over. The new acquirers decided to name the entire brewery "Liefmans" instead of Riva.[3] In December 2007, the Kortrijk commercial court declared brewery Liefmans, with establishments in Oudenaarde and Dentergem, bankrupt. Liefmans Abdis, tripel In June 2008, it was announced that the brewery was taken over by Duvel Moortgat from Puurs. The entire transaction, including the real estate, amounted to €4.5 million. In July 2009, Liefmans released a novelty. Their new fruit beer can also be served with ice cubes. "Brouwerij Liefmans", already mentioned in the city of Oudenaarde (Krekelput) in 1679. In 1927, the permit was granted to build a completely new brewery on the eastern Scheldt riverbank, on Edelare territory. Today, only fermentation and bottling of high-fermentation beers from the Riva brewery (Dentergem) remain. Brick construction with concrete in various volumes under a flat roof. Largely preserved infrastructure: brewing room with two stirring vats with associated malt silos and crushing mills, the cooking room with the various water, beer and "mash" kettles, the two copper cooling systems respectively with two open cooling ships and with tubes, the latter also called "baudelots", and finally the open fermentation vats also made of red copper.
