Built in 1738 in a striking, slender, vertical style, adapted to the narrow streets. Here too, a large cellar opening onto the street. Many houses of that period had one. This indicated an additional activity, such as a small forge in the cellars where nails were made, for which the village was also known. The cloth industry also took place in the large natural stone building with a courtyard across the street.

From Deax Fortins climbing up and away from the ravine, the climb is quite steep, the trail meanders or zig zags uphill. The surface is rugged rock with different formations, some you can ride on, other parts maybe not. Be careful as you are under the tree canopy and the surface does not dry out, this causes moss and damp surfaces, they can be very slippy.

From the Hoëgne, the 60m climb uphill to Berofosse seems like a serious climb, were it not for the beautiful, long zigzag path that makes it much easier. Near the top, you pass the ruins of a medieval tower from which the Hoëgne valley was surveyed. No further information is available.

This large building marks the corner of the village square with its presence. The building expresses its identity through its volume and the many high windows divided over the three floors of the two street walls. The spacious house was built in the 18th century and once housed a cloth factory.

Here you cross a side arm of the Vesdre with a small bridge. If you choose more excitement (and there is not too much water in it) then you can of course also cross next to the bridge.
