Parish Church of the Holy Family The church was built between 1911 and 1913 (20th century) and is the parish church of the Holy Family parish in Bad Griesbach. The large, basilica-style building, constructed in the local vernacular style, has its chancel oriented to the northwest. It features a high, bright nave and two lower side aisles, offering seating for approximately 500 people. At the southern end of the nave, on the west side, rises the 56-meter-high church tower with its octagonal bell tower and onion dome. The church's furnishings—altars, Stations of the Cross, pulpit, and ceiling paintings—were also completed in the Neo-Baroque style starting in 1915. The high altar was created by Johann Huber from Munich, and the altarpiece, "The Nativity," is by Gebhard Fugel. A new altar for the people was designed by sculptor Hans Wurmer as part of the overall renovation and consecrated by Bishop Franz Xaver Eder on April 10, 1994. Address: Haagstraße 35, 94086 Bad Griesbach i. Rottal

Beautiful sculpture by the roadside, at the entrance to the Inn meadows.

For example, the Bad Birnbach weekly markets have found a home here, and parts of the traditional annual fairs are held here.

We're here in Egglfing am Inn with our VW camper van, with a maximum of 1, at the campsite, which is really lovely. If you like thermal baths and saunas, it's just before Bad Füssing. And Bad Füssing is also very, very lovely. We'll definitely be back here next year. Best, Steffi and René.

A great place to stop, good food, service a bit slow and tough, could be better but it's okay,
