The Church of San Siro is the main place of worship in the municipality of the same name in the province of Pavia, belonging to the Diocese of Vigevano. Built between 1729 and 1732 on the remains of a 13th-century chapel, it features an elegant Greek cross plan in the late Baroque style, enriched by 18th-century canvases by the painter Carlo Antonio Bianchi from Pavia.

A lost place, like the ones you see in books. Whenever I see something like this, I always think it's a shame that the old mills are no longer in use.

Beautiful, well-kept watermill with double paddle wheel, set in the middle of the town's gardens.

Until a couple of years ago, this fountain, strategically placed in a shaded area and equipped with benches, allowed you to cool off at the end of the climb up Monte, especially in summer. All you had to do was press the faucet to be rewarded with a cheerful gush of cool water. In its place, there's now a steel spout from which a trickle of water flows, so thin it's practically useless given the time it takes to fill even a small water bottle. The only happy creatures are mosquitoes. In Monte, there's another fountain just beyond the town center, but it's out of order. There's no reason to linger here anymore. Move on.
