The Visconti Castle of Binasco is an imposing late-medieval fortress built in the 14th century to protect the strategic route between Milan and Pavia. Characterized by exposed brick walls, battlements, and an internal courtyard with a loggia, the building still retains the typical appearance of Visconti military architecture. Its history is tragically linked to the figure of Beatrice di Tenda, imprisoned and executed here for alleged adultery in 1418 by order of Duke Filippo Maria Visconti. Despite various renovations over the centuries, it retains its charm and today houses the municipal offices and cultural events.

The little bridge over the Naviglio Pavese in Rozzano is located along the Alzaia opposite Cascina Grande. This footbridge is known both as a panoramic viewpoint over the canal and for having become a small place of worship for Italian comedy. This bridge is indeed the set for the famous scene from the film Chiedimi se sono felice (2000) with Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo, in which Giacomo's bicycle chain falls off at night while the trio is racing along the Naviglio. A real surprise: a cycle path that is a straight stretch but is still nice to ride. Very wide, it allows you to cycle without problems with any type of bike

perfect asphalt BUT... 1. both in the underpass of Casarile and on arrival in Pavia, the final arrangements for the wooden bridge and the arrival at the stadium are delayed... how much longer??!! 2. "bike-friendly" signage is completely missing for the safety of bikers and cars/pedestrians, both on the crossings of the cycle path with roads used by traffic and for finding the cycle path from the Alzaia Pavese 3. once you are on the main road SS35 at Binasco to get back on the cycle path, YOU RISK YOUR LIFE!! accesses not signposted for either cars or cyclists and almost impossible to use in both directions ... DANGER to be fixed before an accident happens!
