Lake Restello (or San Floriano) is one of three bodies of water in the Lapisina Valley. These artificial lakes, arranged in succession, were "built" on ancient glacial basins that once formed lake basins. The name refers to the restelli di sanità, barriers established by the Republic of Venice to prevent the spread of epidemics by controlling traffic.
