The botanical garden is a protected area that preserves typical Adriatic coastal environments: dunes, coastal forest, and wetlands. Walk the nature trails to observe the native vegetation and local fauna. Bring insect repellent and follow the marked paths: this is a sensitive area, designed more for observation than for prolonged visits.

the paths of this pine forest are really fun and in some places they also require a certain driving skill; the only problem is to follow them in the right direction since there are no signs and the risk is to make a mistake and crash into someone who is following them in the right direction; we ourselves made a mistake a few times in the first part of the route, then luckily we met two local cyclists who very kindly accompanied us for the whole journey following it in the right direction.

The Casone di Valle Veniera is undoubtedly the most beautiful building in the valleys of the entire Po Delta. Decorated in the center by a pediment, and on the sides by two chimneys, it plays a crucial role for the fishing valley. Inside, the valley dwellers work, stop for lunch, but, especially in the past, they checked that there were no poachers. Near the Casone are the "cavana" (the boat shelter), the "colauro" (the canal that connects the lagoon to the valley), the "lavoriero" (the instrument used to catch fish) and the "peschiere di sverno" (a dense network of canals, three or four meters deep, which allow fish to pass the winter season unharmed). In this area there was the oratory of San Marco, visible from aerial photos and when there is low tide.

Beach in the southern part of Rosolina Mare. There are various routes to follow on foot that allow you to discover the pine forest, the sand dunes and the beach. There is also a botanical garden that can be visited (inquire so as not to find it closed).

I confirm: the ferry from the left bank of the Po di Levante runs a couple of weekdays and weekends in summer, but with few trips, like two in the morning and three in the afternoon. We gave up on taking it, after Alberella we returned to the starting point up to the Adige embankment (18 km outward and the same number on the return). Pleasant nonetheless

The path to the tower is a bit narrow and surrounded by many blackberry bushes. When you arrive at the tower you immediately notice the amount of rubbish and dirt (leftovers due to the lack of a toilet). The observation tower is currently surrounded by scaffolding as it looks like it is being renovated. The view is great! It's a shame that the surrounding area is not maintained and all the rubbish is disposed of.
