Parish church in Gleisdorf: The church, completed in 1500, was expanded for the first time between 1670 and 1672. From 1891 to 1894 the church was extended to the east according to plans by the Graz architect Robert Mikovics. The church shows a historicist interior by August von Wörndle. A special liturgical feature is the walk-in baptismal font sunk into the ground in the shape of a Greek cross (1997).

Close to the top of this mini climb there is a bench (not sure if it is on private property but I imagine it would be okay to sit down for a bit) with an idyllic countryside view. It’s a nice place to rest when going up the hill. N.B. : the road is quite twisty and narrow here, so take precaution to avoid accidents. Happy riding!
