The Clamors Allee - it stretches for kilometers on both sides of the castle. What a job it must have been back then to keep it in order.

The history of Levern Abbey Church dates back to the 12th century. Originally, it was the church of a convent used by Benedictine nuns.

We cycled on paved paths for about 90% of the way. We didn't encounter any other cyclists or hikers on a Saturday in May. The flora was vibrant, lush green everywhere and beautiful to behold. The fauna treated us to the promised white heron, storks, and other wildlife. A break at Zum Glockenbrink, on the bench with the bell, is a must. However, it didn't ring for us at 12:00. The Alte Kantorei ice cream parlor and Rila delicatessen are inviting places for further breaks. The tour is easily manageable with city bikes.
