The church in Groß Dratow was originally a rectangular fieldstone building from the 13th century. During restoration work in 1908, an 18th-century timber-framed extension to the east was removed, the nave was extended to the east, and a five-sided apse with three round windows was added. https://www.dorfkirchen-in-mv.de/content/Version_1/detail_gesamt.php?Reg_Nr=884

It is quite difficult to move forward here! There are a number of trees lying criss-cross on the path through the Peeneholz between Schliesee and Ostpeene.

The former "Charlottenburg train station" is located in Kargow-Oberdorf and is reminiscent of the former settlement "Hinnenberghe", which was renamed Charlottenhof after Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Schwerin around 1800. Today the place is just a deserted village!
