The Mansaura Chapel is a small rural and wayside chapel in the Mansaura settlement, located above Vandans. The Baroque structure was built between 1870 and 1875 and dedicated to Saint Martin and Saint Hubertus. The chapel is about an hour's walk from the valley on the way to Alpe Platzis and replaces an even older timber-framed predecessor, whose origins could date back to pre-Christian times. Beneath the chapel's roofs are characteristic leaded glass windows depicting Saint Martin, Saint Hubertus, Saint Joseph, and Saint Albert, dating from a 1934 renovation. Inside, there is a small altar with a picture of the Mother of God and two statues from the previous chapel. The Mansaura Chapel is located on the hiking trail from Matschwitz via Ganeu to Vandans and is a worthwhile stopover. https://wasmachma.at/erlebnis/6773-vandans

The Rodund power plant is a power plant of illwerke vkw AG in the Austrian Montafon. The lower balancing reservoirs of Rodundwerk I and Rodundwerk II are located in the municipality of Vandans. Both utilize the height difference to the Latschau reservoir above Tschagguns. On well-maintained dam paths, the reservoirs can be wonderfully circled completely on foot as well as by bike. The play of colors of the water changes greatly with sunlight or fresh rainwater from the mountains ;-)

Along the straightened Litz river near Schruns, two beautiful gravel paths run along both sides, lined with lovely old houses and trees. A must for both walkers and cyclists. One is called the Hermann Sander Trail, the other the Doktor Vonbun Trail.
