I have already cycled the route from Maria Rain to the bridge in both directions. Uphill, I managed thanks to a good gear ratio and good profile, but just barely. It is steep and the gravel is partly very loose. Downhill, I walked because I don't think I can brake or swerve with oncoming traffic. One could also say that cycling downhill is irresponsible towards other hikers and cyclists.
