Very nice and "flowing" to ride. But you have to expect (a lot of) oncoming traffic :)

The Reussbrücke connects Unterlunkhofen with Rottenschwil. There is a separate crossing for pedestrians and bikers. The crossing is single-lane for car drivers, but there are large parking lots on both sides and the Restaurant Hecht nearby (recommended for a culinary treat).

Very beautiful natural pond (independent of the Reuss river) with a large variety of birds. Especially ducks, swans or geese can almost always be found. Directly next to the "Stille Rüss" runs a hiking trail that is also allowed for bikers. Very close by is a large parking lot that invites as a starting point for hikes or bike tours.

Very beautiful lake (or rather pond?) right next to the Reuss. The "Stilli Rüss" is, however, completely separated from the Reuss. There is always a diversity of birds, especially in spring when many young birds are present.

The monastery is very beautifully situated, slightly above the Reuss river. The monastery does not offer refreshments, but has a small "monastery shop" (honey, tea, monastery biscuits, etc.)

Actually, the Flachsee... is not really a lake but an expansion within the Reuss river. The Flachsee is about 300 meters wide and shows swamp landscapes on its banks, where water buffalo can sometimes be found. Smaller island groups have formed in the Flachsee (depending on the season/weather, they are more or less visible), where waterfowl breed and can be observed well from the shore.

Always a great view of the Flachsee, with its diversity of birds. It is also a vast nature reserve that invites you to linger and observe the wildlife. In summer, you often see water buffaloes frolicking in and around the Flachsee.

because it is beautiful and quiet here. In addition, you can see water lilies, irises and orchids. With a bit of luck, also a great egret
