It is hard to miss when driving through Löcknitz. The tall tower rises above the low buildings of the town and is visible from further down the main street. A good, short stop along the way.

Sufficiently wide for a bicycle with a trailer and a stroller. Flat surface, hardly any inclines. Occasionally roots pushing up the asphalt.

One of my favorite roads for training. A beautiful forest, with both coniferous and mixed deciduous trees. It looks great in any season. And during the right time of year, you can even enjoy some blueberries along the bike path.

A well-paved bike path runs parallel to the main road. It's a great place to cover some distance.

Boock village church is a plastered church built of fieldstones, probably dating from the 13th century.

Here in front of the Löcknitz-Penkun office there is a bronze statue of the former night watchman Bartel, who was on duty here with his cat over 100 years ago. In my opinion, the area around the statues could have been designed a little more beautifully. As it is, they are standing more or less directly at the crossroads!
