Il Rifugio G.A.M. al Monte Suchello (1510 m), inaugurated in 2022 and managed by volunteers from Costa Serina, is located in Val Serina near the summit of Monte Suchello (1541 m). It offers 20 beds, a panoramic terrace, and is generally open on the last Sunday of the month and the second Sunday in July. A bivouac room is always open. Features and Useful Info Location: Just below the summit of Monte Suchello, between trails 519 and 519A. Management: G.A.M. (Gruppo Amici della Montagna) of Costa Serina. Opening: Last Sunday of the month and second Sunday of July (refuge festival with Holy Mass). Beds: 20 beds (booking at 3500811215). Email: associazionegam@virgilio.it Bivouac: Winter room always open with 2 bunks and 4 mattresses (without blankets), equipped with a stove.
