Lake Endine, or Spinone, is located just 100 km from Milan, in the heart of the Cavallina Valley. It is easily reached from Lovere and Riva di Solto, or from Casazza, via the state road that runs along its western shore. With a perimeter of 14 km, the lake is divided between the municipalities of Ranzanico, Monasterolo del Castello, Endine Gaiano, and Spinone al Lago.

Situated 600 meters above sea level, the village of Bianzano is best known for its castle. Suardi Castle is a beautiful example of a little-known yet remarkable culture and history. The well-preserved building is located halfway up a hill, and from its walls you can admire Lake Endine and the pristine nature surrounding it. A visit to the castle and the village of Bianzano allows you to experience the magic of centuries past and discover various pagan and religious symbols carved into the walls and stone gates, evidence of the mysterious legends that tell the story of this castle.

The bridge is located in the Pomm mineral water area. The presence of sulfur nearby is clearly visible from the color of the gravel.

The pretty little church of Piane, dedicated to San Cristoforo, was built towards the end of the last century, at the beginning of the small Piane plateau. The relative feast is celebrated at the beginning of September, with a liturgical celebration and, although not always, with evening fireworks. Here there is a fork: on the left you go up to the Seridondo locality, on the right you go along the entire short Piane plateau, with some stables, rich in pastures and surrounded by majestic centuries-old chestnut trees.

The current Terzi Castle has very ancient origins, dating back to the Early Middle Ages. It was originally a fortified Benedictine monastery, destroyed by Charlemagne's Frankish army in the 8th century. Rebuilt as a castle in the 9th/10th century, it belonged to the Mozzo family and then to the Suardo family, who extended their dominion over the entire valley, also owners of the Bianzano Castle. In the 15th century, following the imposition by the Venetian Republic of the demolition of every stronghold present in the territory of the Serenissima, the Suardo family, in order to avoid its destruction, made it a stately home. Finally, the property passed to the Terzi family, who sold it in 1930, by then completely abandoned and in ruins, to the British countess Winifred Terni de Gregory. From 1937 to 1945, she renovated the property as it appears today, including the gardens. Currently the entire complex is temporarily rented for important events or weddings.
