From the ice cream shop/restaurant, you can access one of the most fun (and technical) trails in the area, the Agostini. It takes its name from the Bergamo motorcyclist champion, as at the end of the trail, on the right, you can see the racer's villa.

https://sites.google.com/view/rifugioalpinicantoalto On May 25, 2018, the Sorisole Alpine Group called together the various associations in the area, including the other Alpine groups of Petosino and Azzonica, to find a solution to the management of the Canto Alto Refuge, which until then had been managed by their “veci alpini”. A “PROMOTING COMMITTEE” was formed which, together with the Sorisole Alpine Group, presented the idea of the association to the public on September 14, 2018. More than 100 people from Sorisole and neighboring towns were present at the meeting. The first memberships were collected and on October 12, 2018, the “Amici del Canto Alto” association was officially born, whose bond with the Alpini is indissoluble. Article 1 of the Association's statute in fact states: "... the association called "Amici del Canto Alto", territorial structure of the A.N.A. Alpine Group of Sorisole, Bergamo Section, of which it is a full member... The association is dependent and subordinate to the Alpine Group of Sorisole, A.N.A. Bergamo section..." On December 8, 2018, the Refuge reopens with the new management by the Association Amici del Canto Alto

Perhaps in front of this small sacred monument, which the hiker encounters here in the form of a cross, a few short sentences from Pope Francis are of interest (address of April 5, 2024): "Feel called (...) to bring into the Church and into the world a little of that immense love that compelled Jesus to die on the cross for us. May the familiar closeness to Him make you, as it was with Francis [of Assisi], ever more humble, united, joyful and essential, in love for the cross and in attention to the poor, witnesses of peace and prophets of hope in this time of ours, which has so much difficulty in recognizing the presence of the Lord." (Pope Francis)
