The Berndsmühle is located in the valley of the upper Idarbach. It is named after a previous owner named Bernd. When I was a teenager, the property was partly used as an inn, and I still remember those times fondly. I am not aware of its current usage. http://berndsmuehle.de

The mill rattles by the rushing brook. True to this motto, the Lorenz family has been running the Weitersbacher Mühle (Lorenz-Mühle) on the Idarbach for over 130 years. Ulrich Lorenz grows the wheat, rye and spelled to be ground himself in Weitersbach and Mengigart according to SooNahe guidelines. Own products are offered in the new farm / mill shop, a break with a visit to the mill is recommended.
