The Mannbach Valley lies idyllically between Haag and Reichartshausen, at the transition from the Kraichgau region to the Little Odenwald. The small Mannbach stream meanders through the wooded valley and joins the Wimmersbach stream near Waldwimmersbach to form the Lobbach. The valley is characterized by mixed forest, shady paths, and occasional clearings. Far from major roads, you'll find peace and quiet, birdsong, and the gentle babbling of the brook. The landscape is particularly beautiful in spring and autumn. For hikers and walkers, the Mannbach Valley is a true hidden gem: unspoiled, uncrowded, and typical of the gently rolling hills of the Rhine-Neckar region. A small valley – but with a lot of charm. 🌿

Since the 1990s, an avenue of diverse trees has been growing here – presumably a real gem when everything sprouts, turns green, and blossoms in spring. But today, on this dreary winter day, it all presents a rather austere face. Bare, gray, and a bit listless, everything stands there – as if nature itself lacked any real motivation. Only a few brave conifers and the unwavering holly resist the winter desolation 😉 Right at the beginning of the avenue, a bench awaits, and what a bench it is: over 32 meters long! There's truly room for everyone – and anyone who wants to can officially put their affairs on hold here 😁

A beautiful hut right on the trail. But it's useless without a key.

A fairly new bench right on the edge of the forest. The view is over the forest opposite. Very comfortable for a break.

A very long bench with 32.20m, ideal even for huge hiking groups.

I think the "tree trail" is totally worth it. I didn't know some of the trees that are "presented" there. Well, there is a tree and in front of it a sign made of wood.

A rest bench under some birch trees, in front of which is the spring which is bubbling away.
