It's been modernized and looks a bit different now (white instead of yellow, main entrance now on the east side). They have a chic beer garden with delicious food and views of the surrounding mountains, and last but not least, you can charge your empty e-bike battery in the garage upon request (it was a lifesaver when the battery was about 10% remaining ;-)

From the hut you can no longer do the circular tour as the path is closed from there and you cannot go any further because of the chain link fence.
